SettlementWitness

SettlementWitness is part of a broader effort around independently verifiable agent execution and settlement receipts. It generates portable, cryptographically-verifiable evidence about what an agent claimed, what was executed, and what outcome was observed — without requiring trust in a centralized coordinator or opaque transcript review. The current implementation emphasizes deterministic canonicalization, detached verification, chained receipt composition, verifier interoperability, and externally-checkable execution evidence. The broader direction is durable verification and coordination infrastructure for autonomous systems — especially in environments where “trust through explanation” no longer scales well.
